Sarah's 'Tude

Here's Sarah's latest acts to prove her independence: when she is done with her drink she will take a big mouthful and then spit it out all over her clothes and whatever else is around. The best part is when she does it while you are holding her and it gets all over your clothes as well. Too bad most the time it's chocolate milk which stands out pretty badly. She had just done this while finishing dinner as you can see by looking at her shirt. I had just scolded her a little and she was not happy for the picture evidenced by her extra pouty lip.

The next thing is she has found her new favorite perch. She can get up there, but can't figure out how to get down yet. As soon as you grab her and put her down she immediately climbs back up on top of the table again. I have never had a climber before so this should be fun. She has discovered the joys of carting a step stool around, but it can't get her as high as on top of the kitchen table where she usually finishes cleaning off her high chair tray.
