Playgroup

Today was playgroup and it was Daniel's turn to host it. We missed Garrett today since he moved over the weekend. Since he moved Daniel is the only boy in the group. I guess there is not competition for the role of "Dad" for him anymore. I am getting bad about taking pictures because I forgot to take them of what we did today. I did end up taking a picture of Daniel after playgroup who insisted on wearing his Transformers shirt today. Anyway at playgroup we colored a "color-by-letters" picture of a spider and then played outside for a bit. It wasn't too exciting. Now I can say I get two weeks off until it is our turn again--WAHOO!

After playgroup the local grocery store is having an awesome sale on boneless, skinless, fresh chicken breasts. They end up being $1.25/lb the only down side is they come in 40 pound boxes. Since I am trying to replenish my freezer stock since we lost all of it when our freezer died a few months ago I ended up getting two boxes. I prepared the first 40 pounds to be frozen and for the other 40 lbs I am going to bottle it since my bottled stock is running low. I bet you will never guess what we are having for dinner today--yup chicken. I will be ok if I don't see chicken again for a while!!

Garrett asked me today when Play group was and I had to remind him that we aren't going anymore. He was really upset! He had so much fun. Thanks for letting him be apart of it!
