Why You Don't Weed Eat Wearing Shorts

I had put off the yard work for long enough this season. I broke out the edger and weed eater yesterday and got started. It had been such a nice, warm day I wore shorts while I was doing the yard work. That wasn't the best decision as you can see by looking at the picture of my leg. I was hoping for some sympathy from my husband as I was showing him. He started by saying how he could see all those black slivers and how they must be painful. I gave him a dirty look and said they weren't slivers...I just haven't shaved for a few days. I am so glad I married a comedian (read with much sarcasm).
