I was quite surprised to find there was still a bunch of snow around. I was not quite expecting that since all I wore were flip flops. Needless to say after having freezing feet the whole weekend I learned my lesson this time to always bring a pair of shoes regardless of the weather around home. While we were up there we even got to sit through a snow storm. Who would have thought this late in May we would have to worry about snow!?!? The kids had a lot of fun riding the four wheeler with Dad and Grandpa and just playing. Matthew even enjoyed the four wheeler which is a big thing since he is very afraid of loud noises. Aaron and I were even able to get a couple of rides in as well. Aaron also taught the kids how to have a snowball fight. Daniel was the one you had to worry the most about, though since he packed quite the wallop of a hit ;). We of course hit the Park City outlet stores and Sarah will now have some clothes to wear whThis next week is Matthew's last week of school before the summer break. We also found out that he will probably be moving to a different elementary school next year because the district is redoing their transportation routes. It in theory makes sense, but it will be really hard for Matthew because he
will start a new school in the fall then have to change again the next fall for the same program (learning center) he is in now. We are trying to evaluate all of our options, but it looks like my hands will be tied as to the school changes. We had an IEP meeting Friday morning to update everything before the school change and it was sad to think Matthew will not see all these people he (and us) have become attached to again. He will be getting two very big changes for the school year in the fall--a new sister and a new school. I just hope he can handle everything because he does not do well with change AT ALL. We are hoping for the best!
